We've had a car broken into during a recent game. We've also had a board member observe two men looking into car windows in the parking lot at the top of the hill (Whitesburg School lot). There have been similar problems at local churches and schools. We also have a man in a wheelchair hanging out at Fern Bell Park at night scaring kids. Please be observant while at our park and report any suspicous activity to HPD and also to me (527-3928).

We've filed police reports with HPD and they will patrol our lots more often after dark. Don't leave valuables on your seat. The two guys caught peering into a car had selected a car where a set of keys and purse were sitting on the front seat. Don't make your car a target!
